A MOBILE GLOW IN THE DARK RAMEN SHOP

With this concept we open the doors to the world’s very first Glow-in-the-Dark Ramen Shop. This multi-sensory program is a creative collaboration across platforms of environment, fashion, food, molecular gastronomy, history, architecture, and nightlife. The ramen bar is modularly designed to pop-up and pop down for site specific events, includes intricate details in the design of the menus/bar interior/glowing food narrative - pulling from Japanese Folklore, and food experience prices are kept affordable for the public. Global bar stops for 2018/2019 are Atlanta GA, Los Angeles CA, Tokyo, Seoul, London, Miami,  and NYC. This project includes aesthetic content experience by Zoo as Zoo (Tokyo), Frank Nitty (Seoul), and food design by Bompass and Parr (London).

PAPERMACHINE: A KINETIC SCULPTURE HOUSE & STATE
OF THE ART PRINT FACILITY FOR NEW ORLEANS

This project was developed to fill several needs identified by the local community, Paper Machine is a, formerly derelict, artistically revitalized property transformed into a unique printmaking ecosystem in the Lower Ninth Ward, New Orleans. The building encompasses a 20’ kinetic printmaking installation, a new digital and analog print shop, a rotating gallery, historic print archive, and several artist studios. PaperMachine is open daily to the public and now hosts a series of print workshops, events, print specific gallery exhibitions and free print days for artists in need. This project also commissioned local artists to execute creative aspects of the build such as the 20’ kinetic sculpture, roving light signage, 360 mural, and iconic branding visuals.

UFO ROADSHOW : A CROSS COUNTRY SCIENCE EXHIBIT,
DESERT LIGHT SHOW, AND SPACE FESTIVAL

PROMPTING DISCUSSIONS ON UFOS, SPACE, FACT, HOAX, & MYTH.

This project took place across the United States ending in the Mojave Desert, California. The team took museum caliber, space themed artwork theatrically across many states focusing on several historical hotbeds for extraterrestrial conversation such as the International UFO Museum & Research Center in Roswell, NM, the Rocket Inn in Truth or Consequences, NM, and several roadside stops along I-10. The team and a large-scale UFO arrived in Joshua Tree on June 16. The sculpture was theatrically installed in the middle of an expansive desert view at Sunfair Dry Lake Bed, and left on view until June 25th. A public UFO themed opening night was hosted on June 17 where the public from L.A. & Joshua Tree came to party alongside the UFO; music was provided by Def Sound (LA), with a fully executed UFO sky show by UCLA grad students.
