Two Circles

BY IN KYOUNG CHUN
The neon sculpture Two Circles explores the union of two distinct energies. Its colors—yellow and pink—symbolize fundamental forces: the sun and the moon, or yang and yin. These forces, in constant circulation, sustain all living things.

A reference to bioluminescence, this installation mimics micro-organisms illuminating and undulating in the currents of the deep sea.

Mapping Moments, Becoming Place

BY CRAIG COLEMAN
Mapping Moments, Becoming Place is a video projection that weaves abstract animations and personal video fragments into a unified geometric composition across a wall. Each fragment captures moments of memory and emotion, forming a layered meditation on identity and place. By assembling these pieces into a shared visual field, the work suggests that both people and places are composites of lived experience, transformed through presence and connection.
Remixed from artwork originally shown at SHINE.
The Hapeville Main Street Gallery Crawl was presented by Hapeville Main Street and the City of Hapeville.
