The project incorporated an interactive series of oral histories reflecting on the past and present of the surrounding neighborhoods, showcased along the 300-foot of sidewalk. Co-founder of preservation non-profit Historic Atlanta, Scott Morris, collected, preserved and highlighted stories from neighbors, business owners, community leaders, and others connected to the area such as Unisa Asokan, Gabby Benson, Ricci de Forest, Mike King, Maggie Lopez, and Princess Wilson.

Reflections from the community will continue to be collected and updated in the tunnel to memorialize and share the rich history of this neighborhood.
